Book Lady

Not sure if I should let the Book Lady follow my blog-weird not knowing who it is. Maybe I'll- post the question to the Db. Like the name...

Enjoyed Dr. Pat Lawton's interview. I thought the interview (didn't catch his name) had a very nice style and the interview was well done. I'm going to order the book that was recommended by Dr. Lawton. It makes sense to have a basis understanding of cataloging philosophy as a user of the catalog. I'll probably have to read it between semesters.

I'm still debating on whether or not to drop out of my book club. Thank goodness I hosted last and it was a successful, enjoyable dinner +. Maybe at this months meeting I can suggest a book that I read like "Outliers" and then I can just show up for dinner with a bottle of wine and not feel guilty. It's a good group, I would hate to loose them.

Still caught up but none of the LIS 2600 feeds work. Hopefully an alternative link can be provided before the weekend. I think I'll send a note to Dr. Tomer...
